What is the difference between karats?
The karat shows how much pure gold an item contains, out of 24 parts: 24K is almost pure gold (99.9%), 22K contains 91.7% gold, 21K contains 87.5%, and 18K contains 75%.
The prices shown are the world spot price. Jewellers sell slightly higher because of making charges and tax, and buy from you slightly lower.
